France Claims the Baguette Throne Again!

Move over Italy, there's a new king (or should we say baguette) in town! French bakers recently outdid themselves, creating the longest baguette in the world at a whopping 140.53 meters (461 feet)!

This incredible feat took place on May 5th, 2024, during the Suresnes Baguette Show near Paris. Not only did it break the record, but it also showed the world France's unwavering dedication to this iconic bread. 🇫🇷

The previous record holder, a 132.62-meter behemoth, was crafted by Italian bakers in 2019. Looks like the competition for the longest baguette is heating up!

But this wasn't just about bragging rights. The record-breaking baguette was donated to feed the homeless, showcasing the bakers' generosity alongside their impressive skills. ❤️
